When the tide is extremely low there’s a vast expanse of beach in Strandhill to explore, heading west towards Portavade/Beltra, allowing the most spectacular views from a western viewpoint near the low tide line across the beach towards the seafront of Strandhill village. it also happens to provide a wide panoramic view of Benbulben… next time you’re in Strandhill at low tide go and check this amazing view out! I used a zoom lens at 140mm and stitched about 22 shots together in Lightroom to provide the highest possible resolution. You can blow this up as much as you want, to the size of a bus if you like!
