This photo for me sums up my lifelong love affair with Strandhill. It is a mesmerising place, whether its a stroll on the beach round the bend to Culleenamore, a jog or a trek along the Killaspugbrone trail, surf on the main beach, or a swim at Dorrins strand. In the winter the Brent Geese visit and add another reason for me to count myself lucky to live nearby.
