Description
On a magic night in September 2023, I got an unexpected Aurora alert from a facebook group and made a road trip around the west of the county, made a timelapse on the west Sligo coast, then returned closer to home, checked the tides and saw the tide was out on Cummeen strand, so from previous experience I had the feeling this would be the best place to capture the aurora in all its glory, complete with reflections. Thanks to my wife Therese who accompanied me throughout and assisted me in getting this shot. Her first aurora experience was memorable! This 3-frame panorama looks especially well on an A1 size canvas or bigger!
